Patagonia Outdoor Infrared Sauna

A 2-seat infrared hemlock cabin at $10,550, the dearest 2-seat sauna we list at $5,275 a seat, with a lifetime warranty.

Patagonia is the smallest of Peak Saunas' three cabins: 42 by 52 inches and 83 tall, about 15 square feet, or 7.6 per seat. Only the Sweat Kingdom Sweat Box takes less ground. It weighs 798 pounds and comes as a DIY kit in hemlock.

The price is the story. At $5,275 per seat it is 182 percent above the cabin median of $1,868 and sixth-dearest of 85 models. The SunRay Bristow, a 2-seat hemlock cabin, is $4,990, $5,560 less, and the Almost Heaven Salem is $4,037 with a lifetime warranty too. What you pay for is infrared heat, and our data gives no power rating for it, so the kilowatt comparisons we make for other saunas do not apply. Choose it if you want infrared in a couple-sized cabin; for a traditional sauna the numbers point elsewhere. Peak Saunas is the only store.
