Golden Designs sells electric barrel and cabin saunas. The seven models we list seat 2 to 6 and cost $4,999 to $12,999.

Golden Designs is in Ontario, California, where its site shows a 100,000 square foot facility. It says it has operated since 2008. Its main business is far infrared saunas, and it also sells cold plunges and chillers.

What we list

Four of the seven are barrels (the Arosa, Klosters, St. Moritz and Zurich) and three are cabins (the Gargellen, Carinthia and Bergen). All have electric heaters, rated 6 kW on the three smaller barrels and 8 kW on the other four. Seats are 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6 and 6, so only the 4-seat and 6-seat sizes have two models each. Prices are as of November 7, 2026, and we list all seven through Recovery for Athletes. The wood is hemlock on two cabins, red cedar on the Bergen and recorded as other on the four barrels, because the sources do not name one of our standard species.

What we could not confirm

The sources we used say whether the Carinthia and Bergen are kits, and do not say for the other five. None gives a warranty in years. For that reason none of the seven can be ranked on the best-of pages. The Gargellen and Carinthia are sold as hybrids, but our data records only an electric heater for them. If you are choosing among these, check each model page for dimensions and weight before you plan the base.
