Klosters 6-Person Barrel Sauna (GDI-B006-01)

A 6-seat barrel at $6,999 with an 8 kW heater, 12 percent under the barrel median per seat; wood and warranty are not stated.

Klosters is $1,166 per seat, eleventh of 37 barrels, but $808 above the Almost Heaven Seneca, which also seats six with 8 kW. It is 91 by 84 inches and 84 tall, at 548 pounds. Our data says the wood is other and gives no warranty or assembly type.

The weight is the interesting number. At 548 pounds it is under half the median of 1,170. Whether that reflects thinner walls or a different wood, the data cannot say, so ask. The Dundalk Tranquility MP also seats six, with a porch and a 5-year warranty, for $1,190 more. Recovery for Athletes is the only store we list.
