Kilimanjaro Outdoor Infrared Sauna

A 5-seat infrared hemlock cabin at $15,450, $3,090 a seat, the lowest per seat of Peak Saunas' three, with a lifetime warranty.

Kilimanjaro is a 59 by 59 inch square, 83 tall, about 24 square feet and 1,031 pounds, built as a DIY kit. That is 4.8 square feet per seat, the least per seat of any model we list, against 9.4 typical, so treat 5 as a maximum.

At $3,090 per seat it is 65 percent above the cabin median of $1,868 and seventeenth of 22 cabins. It is the best value of the Peak trio, ahead of El Capitan at $4,025 and Patagonia at $5,275. The Dundalk Tranquility, a 5-seat white cedar barrel with a porch, costs $6,483, $8,967 less, but records no heater. Kilimanjaro is infrared, with no power rating in our data, and carries a lifetime warranty. Pick it if you want infrared for a small group and have checked the seating in person. Peak Saunas is the only store.
