Bristow 200D2

A 2-seat hemlock cabin at $4,990, 34 percent above the cabin median per seat, and the third-smallest footprint of any model we track.

Bristow measures 50 by 50 inches, about 17 square feet, and stands 98 inches tall, so only the Sweat Kingdom Sweat Box and the Peak Patagonia take less ground among the 85 models with pages. That is the reason to buy it. At $2,495 per seat it is dear: six of the 22 cabins cost more per seat, the Peak Kilimanjaro, El Capitan and Patagonia, the Sweat Kingdom Summit and the two Auroom cabins.

Heat and warranty

The 4.5 kW heater gives 2.25 kW per seat, well above the 1.5 typical, so it will warm quickly in a space this small. A 10-year warranty is stated, and the weight is 721 pounds. The Waverly adds a seat for $300 more, which cuts the cost per seat to $1,763. Take the Bristow only if space is the hard limit. Topture is the only store we list.
