SunRay Saunas

SunRay Saunas sells electric hemlock and red cedar barrels and cabins as kits. Eight of the ten models we list carry a 10-year warranty and two carry 7 years.

SunRay is based in Richmond, Virginia, and describes itself as family-run. Its site says it has shipped saunas since 2007, builds in its own factory and ships from a Richmond warehouse to the lower 48 states. It also sells infrared saunas and cold plunges. Its traditional and barrel saunas use Harvia heaters, and its wood is Canadian hemlock and red cedar.

What we list

We list ten SunRay models: four barrels and six cabins. Four are hemlock and six are red cedar. All have electric heaters, rated 4.5 kW, 6 kW or 8 kW where recorded, and nine are DIY kits; the assembly type of the tenth is not stated. They seat 2 to 4 people, so SunRay suits small households, not groups.

Current prices run from $4,790 to $5,890 as of November 7, 2026. The 10-year warranty on eight models is the longest stated in years among the brands we list, with 5 years being more common; only the lifetime warranties from Almost Heaven and Peak Saunas rank above it. The newer Denali and Seneca cabins state 7 years. Topture sells eight of the ten, Recovery for Athletes sells four, and the Oasis and Waverly are listed at both at the same price.
